WHY 'THE PORTFOLIO
The term Portfolio appeared rather recently in the field of language education and, in the Italian, only in 1998 with the CM 304
on the introduction of e-learning a second language in school curriculum does not
Community Media. The European Language Portfolio ©
The main purpose of the European Language Portfolio © is to promote intercultural competence and multilingual European citizens, helping and guiding
youths and adults to develop those abilities, skills and attitudes that are necessary for the formation of ' future European citizen.
Although many social policies of our own small towns do not already have noticed this is the European Directorate.
How is the Portfolio The Portfolio consists of three distinct sections: 1
• The language passport, which is a short section that provides initial
immediately
degree of knowledge attained by the owner of the portfolio in various European languages.
2 ° The biography of language learning which includes
the history of language learning with reference
skills oral and written, the methodology and approach adopted
.
This section also includes evaluation grids
linguistic-communicative and accessible
self-assessment forms completed by the owner of the Portfolio
during their training.
are inserted in this section are the
historical documentation of qualifications (ie qualifications and experience obtained
conducted both in school and in that school) and the description of the future
learning program that you intend to take to develop
knowledge of the language.
3 • The dossier also contains a collection of illustrative texts produced
is in writing whether audio or video
, reflecting the performance achieved in the process of language learning
.
WHAT IS? The portfolio helps students to be especially aware and self-critical of their improvements in the language, and especially to identify the assets and skills to better succeed.
I am a fierce supporter of the portfolio in children, because it's helping them discover their own ways of learning, a method of forming a self in language learning but also general.
addition, the Portfolio is a great assessment tool for teachers, schools and other institutions autandole to set targets for language learning once known motivations of the learner, having learned
and being able to evaluate past experience. The Portfolio
, finally, helps businesses, services and employers to have a fairly detailed knowledge of COMPETENCE language of the future staff to plan activities and internal / external or upgrade
and language training.
would be useful to have models of homogeneous or non-retro lines as we have today, but we are aware that even the discovery of all the features of the instrument are a half away. This week the children
Starters and Movers will begin its portfolio.
Good luck!

My Cat Ate Ribbon Should I Worry
Antidepressant ineffective and potentially harmful
According to German researchers, headed by Beate Wieseler and Thomas Kaiser, data published so far tend to overestimate benefits and underestimate the potential dangers of the drug.
The practice of publishing only positive results of studies in addition to being scientifically incorrect does not allow doctors and patients a choice.

Ho trovato uno studio di Marco Albanese sulla linguistica e l'intelligenza multiple molto interessante.
Incollo alcuni paragrafi che mi sembrano argomenti per la nostra metodologia.

MOTHER TONGUE TEACHER? A special
is that after the weekend seminar CLIL, the issue was resolved for me! obvious that native speakers are always better than teacher of L1 which follows as a second language to study. Some School Administrator, municipal employees and directors of non-professionals in the field, they differ (in some cases they are right but it depends on the fact that the teacher is language).
The reasons cited are: The teacher will not be able to literally translate the concepts from L1 to L2, or that the two talking and translating some bad words and structures, will lead to the wrong student, or that a teacher who speaks only in the L2 lesson will not teach you anything (because I do not understand) for the learner especially if children.
And here comes the answer according to some texts cited at the end of this post: the best teacher and bilingual in advance, but not always, or in all situations. Sometimes
for children (not really 100% bilingual) may be exposed to a perfect pronunciation of native speakers, but that should not translate concepts into context, unless the activity has a lens different from the language understanding of the word in itself. (Cases of boost to the pronunciation)
course must be empathetic, especially with children and do no more than translate the words and for all, avoiding the cognitive effort that will allow the storage, and last but not least, a native English teacher (especially in children under 8 years old, adults with a level B2 or higher, within CLIL, or within specialized courses) has a cultural heritage that the language that the L2 teacher can not learn as good in 6 years of college, or several trips abroad.
The teacher who teaches a rather native L1 L2 is optimal (if it is not bilingual) when it comes to adults over 50 beginner with the language being studied. This
my thinking is not a sacrosanct principle, but in principle, a principle that has proved efficient in general, as evidenced by the same university language courses in Italy and in the main universities of Linguistics deal.
to keep her long, I refer you to the bibliography in the field. Have fun!

B. To develop communication skills
C. To raise awareness of culture
CLIL helps to organize information thanks to visual organizers.

REMEMBER NEW INFORMATION
Before teaching a second languager Teachers must do a Teacher Knowledge test.
Examples: Teachers discuss in groups how they set up their science experiments
Learners find out about different ways of celebrating spring festivals.
Poster presentation about their group projects.
TYPES: There are two types of CLIL: HARD CLIL (bilingual programs) / SOFT CLIL . Are the teachers ready???? they must have at least a C1 level or be natives.
Why is it important??? Because The target language and the subject content have a JOINT role in the learning.
CLIL is about CONTENT, COMMUNITACION; COGNITION and CULTURE.

WHY LEARN A LANGUAGE THE IMPORTANCE OF SPANISH
Why learn another language? Not because the I say, but here are the arguments drawn dall'oppuscolo on bilingualism of the European Community:
How much you can learn a language
depends on the needs, desire, motivation, the ability

University professors or highly qualified professionals (eg physicians) working in a foreign language will obviously reach a very high level of competence.
However, for many other purposes, an intermediate level is desirable and attainable

Whether native or not important to know the importance of language.
English or Castilian is a Romance language originally from northern Spain. The English began as a dialect of Latin in the north, specifically in the area where today is located in the provinces of Cantabria, Burgos, Soria and La Rioja. From there it spread into the Kingdom of Castile, where it evolved to become the main language of government and commercial relations. During the five centuries later, English explorers, settlers and exported it to the Americas and elsewhere.

pollution increases the risk of diabetes
discovered the link between dust subtle and the onset of diabetes
The study, conducted in the United States, focused on finer particles (known as PM2.5) which have been attributed to respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. The data, published in the October issue of the journal Diabetes Care, showed an increase of over 20% in the prevalence of diabetes in urban areas where the presence of PM2.5 is greater. The connection between this form of pollution and diabetes remained even after removing the influence of other risk factors such as obesity and ethnicity.
